Our Philiosophy

Thank you for allowing your child to play Phenix City Coach Pitch Baseball.  We hope this season will be an exciting one for you and your child.  Our league exists for three reasons:

(1)  To allow your child to have fun playing the game of baseball

(2)  To teach your child the fundamentals of baseball, and

(3)  To teach your child the value of good sportsmanship.

Every effort is made to promote the philosophy of “Fun First” in everything we do.  We encourage coaches to teach winning as an attitude, not as an essential outcome of every game.  We believe the best athletes have developed a positive winning attitude that enhances their athletic ability.  We realize your child is just developing his or her athletic skills.  We encourage our coaches to coach each individual child rather than the sport in general in an attempt to foster a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem in each child.
